Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry

CHICKEN CABBAGE STIR-FRY



Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast halves: 3
  • Vegetable oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Green cabbage: 3 cups (shredded)
  • Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
  • Ground ginger: 1⁄2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1⁄4 teaspoon
  • Water: 1⁄2 cup
  • Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon (low sodium)

Instructions:

  1. To start with, chicken breasts should be cut into strips.
  2. In a frying pan, heat oil.
  3. You'll want to add chicken strips. And please stir fry over medium-high heat, turning constantly until done.
  4. Immediately add cabbage and sauté until cabbage is crisp-tender, it takes around 2 minutes.
  5. You can then mix cornstarch and seasonings, then add water and soy sauce, and mix until smooth.
  6. Alright now, you may want to stir sauce into chicken/cabbage mixture.
  7. Make sure to cook for 1 minute, or until the sauce has thickened and chicken is coated.
  8. Finally, refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
