CHICKEN CABBAGE STIR-FRY
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast halves: 3
- Vegetable oil: 1 teaspoon
- Green cabbage: 3 cups (shredded)
- Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
- Ground ginger: 1⁄2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1⁄4 teaspoon
- Water: 1⁄2 cup
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon (low sodium)
Instructions:
- To start with, chicken breasts should be cut into strips.
- In a frying pan, heat oil.
- You'll want to add chicken strips. And please stir fry over medium-high heat, turning constantly until done.
- Immediately add cabbage and sauté until cabbage is crisp-tender, it takes around 2 minutes.
- You can then mix cornstarch and seasonings, then add water and soy sauce, and mix until smooth.
- Alright now, you may want to stir sauce into chicken/cabbage mixture.
- Make sure to cook for 1 minute, or until the sauce has thickened and chicken is coated.
- Finally, refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours.
